About Shindo
I will be earning an MLIS degree from San Jose State University starting Fall 2009. This blog chronicles my journey.
I have a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction), both from San Diego State University, and I have been teaching English at several communities collges and private institutions for a total of 4 years. I am at a point where I have decided to change careers and I have always been attracted to libraries. Also, my background as an English major and educator only adds to my career path, not negate it.
I live in San Diego, CA, and I also have a personal blog called ShindoTV. You can also find me on Twitter and Facebook.
As for “a life,” I write, make collages, draw, write, watch movies and science fiction TV, enjoy good food, drink lots of coffee, and read fiction and books about current events. I love bookstores and libraries, and I go to museums whenever possible.
