This just in: ABC declines offer to interview Paris Hilton.
Greediness doesn’t always pay. When ABC offered to pay the Hiltons for a post-prison interview, they turned it down, claiming they had a better offer from NBC (which was just smoke to blow up ABC’s ass). Now that they are willing to interview “with no strings attached,” ABC’s no longer interested.
Well, you can’t fault Barbara Walters for trying before ABC turned down the Hiltons.
What’s Paris learning in jail? A whole lot, it seems.

What IS it with this woman that otherwise ‘respectable’ journalists are peeing their pants to find out how she’s coping with being in jail (like she’d know – what with having tried to get out of being there as often as possible)?
Now she claims to have found Jesus in prison – the cynic in me is convinced she misread her case worker’s name tag (“it’s pronounced ‘hay-soos,’ sweetie.”)
What *must* people in other parts of the world think of us??
Not very highly, apparently. Then again, we (meaning the US) are the folks who got fixated on Clinton and Monica in the late 1990′ and the yahoos who got Bush into office.
